Welcome to the website of the Star Inn, Steyning, West Sussex.

The Star Inn is run by Frank and Sue Barwick and their team.

The Star Inn is a 16th Century, family run pub with two delightful gardens, wood burning stoves and a large car park.

Voted West Sussex 'Country Pub of the Year' in 1990 and 1995, and voted as one of the top 50 pubs in England by the Independent in 2006, the Star Inn is part of Steyning's history, and is renowned for its cask ales and home-cooked food.

Our kitchen team offer a delicious range of home cooked dishes.

Open Mike Night every last Wednesday of the month

To accompany your meal, we also have a excellent selection of wines and beers.

In summer guests can enjoy the pretty garden, and in winter can relax by a log fire.

Families, children, dogs, cyclists and walkers are welcome. There are nappy changing facilities available.

Coaches and Walking Parties welcome with prior booking.

The Star Inn is an ideal stop for walkers and cyclists who enjoy the many routes around this picturesque Sussex village.

The pub boasts  two charming beer gardens, one bordering a stream and one equipped for children.
